Funko Vinyl Derpy Hooves

Look everyone, it's mare-who-shall-not-be-named because people complain about her!

I'm rather ambivalent about Derpy. She's cute, and it's nice to see her in the background. I even like some of the stuff that's been done with her by the fans (although I have no idea why she was shipped with Dr. Whooves). But I can't figure out why she's so immensely popular, especially since she is literally a one-trick pony: she's clumsy. I get it.

Like all Funko vinyls she's a bit of a "ten footer," i.e. not so great to look at up close, but great from a distance. Paint errors and vinyl seams are clearly visible, and she has "Hasbro's Disease" (i.e. only one cutie mark on one side) but she's still a reasonably high-quality, good looking figure which adults will find makes a good display piece. Just don't pay more than $15-$20 for 'em.

If you want a Derpy doll and don't wanna pay a fortune, this is certainly the one you want, although of course if you want something that looks better and isn't plagued by seams and paint errors, stick with fan-made items. Personally I'm quite happy with her, she hangs out with Dash and Fluttershy on top of my computer, being adorable like she always is.
